2019 Valtellina Superiore DOCG Inferno "Fiamme Antiche", Lombardy, Italy

Delicately smoky and tobacco aroma of more red than black berries with a little tar, hints of mushrooms as well as floral and dried plant nuances. Ripe, slightly warm, somewhat nutty and with air increasingly juicy fruit, delicately smoky and tobacco notes, a hint of pepper and juniper, persistent, has melting and grip, crumbly tannin, a little cocoa in the background, also salty hints, some depth, relatively complex spiciness, a hint of coffee and Brazil nut, very good finish.
