2018 Valtellina Superiore DOCG Nebbiolo "Il Pettirosso", Lombardy, Italy

Tart, somewhat peppery-spicy aroma of red and a little black berries with tobacco nuances, a little dried flowers and a hint of tar. Quite tight, rather restrained, with air juicier, again tart fruit with allspice and pepper notes, some acid bite and present tannins, a hint of bacon on the palate, dried herbal nuances, a little coffee grounds, good persistence, medium power, tar, salt and pepper in the background, excellent balance, very good, fine-juicy, slightly smoky finish with a lot of grip.
