Firm, tart aroma of red and black berries with lots of laurel and a little juniper, black olives, resinous herbs and pepper. Ripe black and red fruit with toasty and smoky also a little candied-nutty wood flavours, dark ethereal spice and again some laurel, black olives and bitter chocolate in the background, a little coffee grounds, present, ripe tannin and some bite, salty hints, very good, firm, tart-juicy and a little toasty finish with smoky and dried-vegetable notes.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
