2008 Umbria IGT Contrario, Umbria, Italy

Tart nose, black berries, herbaceous notes, delicate smoky and cool vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, polished and full-bodied on the palate, juicy fruit, dark chocolate, tart spicy notes, youthful, fairly fine tannins, prominent herbaceous notes, good persistence and has some depth, earthy traces, good to very good finish.
