2019 Barolo DOCG "Tettimorra®", Piedmont, Italy

Tart, quite firm, somewhat nutty and tobacco aroma of red and black berries with a hint of tomato and aubergine, leathery traces, tree bark, hints of sesame and moderate barrel tones. Relatively cool, tart, quite dense, fine-juicy fruit, nutty, slightly undergrowthy and mushroomy notes, fine, youthful tannin, ashy and tobacco traces, good persistence, quite traditional character, a touch of dried flowers in the background, a hint of iodine, salty mineral tones, very good, firm, fine-juicy and spicy, again relatively cool finish.
