2019 Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly smoky nose with red and black berry aromas, some root vegetables, coffee grounds, marzipan and earthy, mushroomy notes. Tart, almost dark fruit, present, drying tannins, smoky and slightly roasted notes, certain persistence, warming alcohol, a hint of juniper in the background, earthy tones, slightly brittle type, which becomes somewhat juicier with air, raisiny tones, good, warm, slightly drying finish.
