Firm and quite deep, somewhat developed, slightly cedary aroma of ripe black berries with dark tobacco, cigar box and a little tomato paste. Ripe, juicy, tart dark fruit, some iodine and soy sauce, also dark nutty flavours and some tar, again a little cigar box on the palate, ashy traces, good substance and persistence, slightly peppery spice and also Mediterranean herbs, certain depth, gains freshness again with air, peppery nuances, very good, juicy and spicy finish, again with soy sauce. In first-class condition.

Best to drink: Bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
