2008 Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC Saragio, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly dissolute nose, red berries and some tobacco, earthy and vegetal traces. Fruit on the palate reminiscent of brandy, oak, sugar candy and light earthy notes, fairly fine, predominantly fruit tannins, not particularly deep, hint of brandy again on a fairly good finish.
