Dark, firmly woven, somewhat ethereal-herbaceous, nutty and tobacco-like nose with dark berries and a hint of Amarena cherries, accompanied by spicy and leathery notes. Rather warm, quite dense fruit with bitter chocolate and slightly smoky wood aromas, ripe, crumbly-sandy tannins, good substance and sustainability, hints of ash and leather, has power, with cool herbal tones in the background, earthy minerality, hints of black tea and again soot in the very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
