2009 Montenetto di Brescia IGT passito M, Lombardy, Italy

Toasted, smoky oak on the nose, preserved and dried black berries, slightly smooth and jammy fruit on the palate, quite sweet, but again has rather tart, smoky oak notes, chocolate, fairly moderate tannins, creamy and quite full-bodied, good persistence, not particularly complex, but well made, more chocolate on a good finish.
