2007 Capriano del Colle DOC Riserva 1884, Lombardy, Italy

Fairly cool, herbaceous mixed berry nose, earthy and light vegetal notes, spicy oak. M;ore vegetal notes on the palate, fairly mature berry fruit, dried herbs and earthy notes, predominantly mature tannins, hint of tobacco and grilled bell peppers, moderate acid bite, fairly polished and persistent, delicate hint of coffee on a good to very good finish.
