Nutty, iodised and tobacco aroma of red and a little black berries with some soup herbs and soy sauce, hint of smoke and a hint of tar. Clear, polished, rather tart fruit, light tobacco and cocoa-spicy wood with some coffee grounds, some soya, herbs and iodine in the background, medium strength, quite crumbly, only a hint of drying tannin, rather unobtrusive for Nebbiolo, peppery nuances, hint of smoke, very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
