2019 Toscana IGT Rosso "La Gioia", Tuscany, Italy

Firm and quite deep, a hint of animal scent with fresh black and also some red berry aromas, a hint of meat and tobacco barrel tones in the background. Clear, tight, rather juicy, tart fruit, very fine, youthful tannin and a certain acidity, persistent on the palate, hints of herbs, smoky and nutty, salt in the background, still little developed, a hint of tomato essence, has power, but also freshness and cooling elements, traces of tobacco, a little barrel wood, good depth, multi-layered, perfectly balanced for all its power, very good to long, firm, tangy finish with fine, slightly smoky spice.
