2004 Toscana IGT "Tinorso", Tuscany, Italy

Preserved and candied berries on a slightly artificial nose with roasted and malted notes, dark chocolate. Creamy, slightly sweetish preserved berry fruit on the palate, some preserved cherries as well, has some substance. light spicy notes in the background, sweetish oak rounds off the wine, mature tannins, light bitter and piquant notes on a good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2010+. What our ratings mean
