2017 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat dried, planty and slightly earthy scent of black and red berries with floral traces, hints of mushrooms and a hint of tomatoes. Tart, straightforward fruit, nutty tones, slightly bitter, somewhat tobacco wood notes, fine sandy tannin, buttery traces in the background, not too deep, but gains juice with air, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, very good finish with warm fruit, nut butter and chocolaty notes.
