2018 Chianti DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Very slightly developed, strong alcohol, somewhat nutty, dried-floral, a touch tobacco and peppery-ethereal scent with more black than red berry aromas. Dark fruit with light cocoa and coffee notes, a hint of malt and earthy tones, crumbly-sandy tannin, some persistence, again lots of alcohol, a little salt in the background, hints of cola nut, good, tart, slightly drying and again alcohol-strong finish.
