Firm, slightly tobacco-like nose, predominantly dark berries, leathery-animalic and light earthy notes. Quite firm, tart dark fruit with smoky wood notes, again leathery-animal tones, some tobacco and partly ethereal dark spice, present, fine sandy, predominantly crumbly tannins, some bite, good persistence, a lot of power and noticeable alcohol, a little liquorice, very good finish.
