2020 Chianti Rúfina DOCG "San Giuliano", Tuscany, Italy

Tart, somewhat dried-vegetable nose of partly dried black berries with slightly nutty, earthy, mushroomy and meaty notes. Some bitter, sooty and chocolaty wood in the mouth, behind it rather dark fruit, some acid bite, present, a little drying tannin, some persistence, hinted at minty and juniper-ethereal spice, good finish with noticeable alcohol and bitter wood again.
