Firm aroma of predominantly black berries and a little black olives with notes of dried Mediterranean herbs, some pepper and a hint of tar. Tart, again tightly knit, dark fruit, nutty and somewhat toasty wood notes, a little coffee and dark chocolate, dried herbs again, especially sage, present, fine sandy tannin, persistent on the palate, sooty traces, some salt, warm and cool elements, good to very good, slightly drying finish.
