2015 Chianti Rúfina DOCG Riserva Pian dei Sorbi, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly herbaceous and suggestive floral, also a hint of fleshy nose predominantly dark berries with a touch of cherries. Fairly firm, tart dark fruit on the palate, bitter oak, cocoa-spicy oak, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, dried floral and earthy notes in the background, light peppery spice, light heat, dried vegetal traces, again slightly bitter on a very good to very good finish with bitter juice and cocoa notes.
