2016 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Visconti", Tuscany, Italy

Clear, somewhat tobacco and a touch cedary nose of red and hints of black berries with floral nuances and a little soup herbs. Straight fruit, spicy aromas and quite fine, crumbly tannin, a little coffee and cocoa on the palate, some bite, a touch of liquorice, some warmth, not too deep but well made and accessible, peppery-spicy nuances, very good finish
