2017 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Campaperi®", Tuscany, Italy

Warm, slightly tobacco and nutty aroma of partly preserved mixed berries and some plums with a hint of soup herbs, butter and juniper. Relatively tart, warm fruit, crumbly, sandy, slightly drying tannin, dried herbal and floral nuances, a trace of soup herbs in the background, some persistence but little depth, a hint of cocoa, tobacco nuances and salt, could be a bit fresher and more precise, good to very good finish with toasted notes.
