AOC area in the French Jura wine region. The vineyards cover 650 hectares of vines in about 60 of the 105 municipalities. The best known are Arlay, Gevingey, Le Vernois, Poligny, Rotalier and Voiteur. The red wine is blended from Poulsard, Trousseau Noir and Pinot Noir. The white varieties may also be used for rosé.
