AOP area for red wines, rosé wines, white wines and sparkling wines in the French wine growing region of Savoy. The vineyards are located between 250 and 560 metres above sea level and cover over 1,700 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of the foothills of the Savoy Alps. They are spread over the four departments of Savoie (28 communes), Haute-Savoie (24 communes), Ain (communes of Corbonod and Seyssel) and Isère (commune of Chapareillan). For the latter three, the AOP only applies to red wines. The area is almost identical to the AOP area Roussette de Savoie.
