2020 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru AOC Château Tour Baladoz, Bordeaux, France

Tart, firm and quite polished, slightly bacony aroma of blue and black berries with smoky nuances, tart herbal aromas, a little tobacco, floral nuances as well as pepper and juniper. Ripe, dense, juicy, still barely developed fruit, present, ripe tannin and some bite, slightly chocolaty and again also dark ethereal spiciness on the palate, herbal to slightly tobacco notes, persistent, has power and some depth, minty hints, salt in the background, very good, tight, tart-juicy and again ethereal-spicy finish with clearly bitter chocolate, a little pepper and black pepper. Needs to mature.
