2004 Bordeaux Supérieur AOC, Bordeaux, France

Tranquil, slightly subdued nose, berry preserves and some old oak. Clean fruit, tart and light-red berries, uncomplicated and delicately juicy, discreet tannins, attractive finish. Simple but enjoyable to drink at quite a high level.
