2003 Valtellina Superiore DOCG Prestigio, Lombardy, Italy

Cooked red fruit on the nose, prominent herbaceous notes, light vegetal and malted notes. Rather cooked again on the palate, restrained fruit and some vegetal notes, more herbaceous notes, creamy, fairly fine tannins, some old oak, not particularly deep, dissolute with noticeable alcohol on the finish.
