Red berries and some black berries on the nose, leafy notes, wilted flowers, light mineral notes, hint of tobacco, light spicy oak. Clear, ripe, fairly polished fruit on the palate, light earthy notes and some undergrowth, creamy, fine, sandy tannins, persistent, elegant tart spice in the background, mineral notes, clearly shows its origin, touch of licorice and tobacco, elegant acid bite on a very good finish. Has developed very nicely, and shows no signs of age.

Best to drink: Bis 2014+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Fairly mature nose with spicy red berries, some leather and mineral notes. Fairly firm on the palate, roasted notes, fairly prominent fine, very slightly astringent tannins, more red fruit, prominent mienral notes, good presence on the palate, has bite and character, medium depth and length.
