Spicy oak, ripe red berries and some plums, sweet spicy notes, some undergrowth. Clean and quite juicy in the mouth, lots of ripe fruit, undergrowth again, quite fine, slichtly dry tannins, oak quite dominant on the palate, but fruit comes through increasingly with aeration, medium body, attractive to good finish. Give it some time to mature, but the heavy oak will probably never be fully integrated.

Best to drink: 2005-2008. What our ratings mean
