Preserved ripe mixed berries and cherries on the nose, touch of chocolate and nougat, some licorice, herbaceous and floral notes. Full-bodied on the palate, polished and slightly perfumed, smooth, dark fruit, prominent oak, chocolate and nougat, licorice again, very fine tannins, very creamy, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, but meticulously made, jammy on an attractive to good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2011+. What our ratings mean
