2016 Franciacorta DOCG Brut Nature "Victus", Lombardy, Italy

Tart, herbal and somewhat yeasty aroma with fine yellow-fruity aromas and nutty traces. Quite tightly knit, fine, tart fruit, nutty and herbal-herbal hints, a trace of smoke in the background, good substance and persistence, fine mousseux, some grip, some depth, mineral hints, very good, taut, again herbaceous-juicy finish with hints of smoky and resinous nuances. In convincing form.
