Yeasty, delicately chalky and somewhat tobacco aroma with yellow and red fruit aromas and nutty hints. Clear, polished, fine-juicy fruit, fresh plant and floral nuances, some acidity, fine mousseux, delicately creamy on the palate, persistent, hints of smokiness and yeast, a hint of tobacco in the background, salty and chalky tones, very good, fresh, juicy finish with traction. Obviously the bottle was not at its best last December; in this form, the wine is possibly better than ever.

Editor note: Yeasty, somewhat vegetal, nutty and mushroomy nose with yellow fruity and red berry aromas, a little herbs, egg white, smoke and hints of pepper. Ripe, tart fruit, nutty, smoky, slightly buttery and implied iodine flavours, a hint of soup herbs in the background, fine, rather moderate mousseux, light grip, some persistence, mushrooms in the background, a hint of tobacco and ash, salty and implied meaty notes, very good finish with fine grip. Will not be able to mature as long as originally expected and should be drunk now - with great pleasure.

Editor note: Translate to English Ganz leicht fleischiger, etwas hefiger und moderat vegetabiler Duft mit gelb- und rotfruchtigen Aromen. Nussig, hefig und vegetabil im Mund, wieder auch ein wenig fleischig und an Eiweiß erinnernd, relativ feines Mousseux, leichter Griff, gute Nachhaltigkeit und Substanz, metallische Spuren, einen Hauch floral und rauchig, im Hintergrund dunkle Beeren, mineralische Nuancen, fester Bau, sehr guter Abgang.
