2020 Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC "La Riva di Sass", Lombardy, Italy

Quite firm, somewhat green-vegetable and herbal nose of black berries with fleshy aromas, hints of pepper and green beans. Tart, quite firm fruit with smoky and nutty aromas, some bite, moderate perlage, present, youthful, fine tannin, roasted notes in the background, cocoa and a hint of coffee, ethereal spice, lasting, some power, still young, a huch of beans in the background, peppery traces, good to very good, tart-juicy finish with grip.
