2018 Oltrepò Pavese Spumante Metodo Classico DOCG Extra Brut "Montelio" (Deg.04/22), Lombardy, Italy

Cool, floral and yeasty, also slightly herbal citrus nose with pome fruit notes and a hint of mushrooms. Clear, tart, fine fruit, yeasty, herbal and nutty tones, relatively fine mousseux, good persistence, hints of smoke and dark berries in the background, again a hint of mushrooms, floral nuances, has bite, very good finish.
