2004 Provincia di Pavia IGT "Comprino Mirosa", Lombardy, Italy

Mature spicy nose, hint of flintstone, preserved and dried plums, some overripe berries, undergrowth. Fairly cool on the palate, herbs and spices, vegetal notes and old oak, polished fruit, ripe dried berries, hint of citrus, slightly dusty, grippy tannins, noticeable mature, but still very much alive, very good finish.
