2003 Oltrepò Pavese DOC Costarsa, Lombardy, Italy

Warm nose with chocolate and fruit marinated in rum, herbaceous notes, slightly oxidative. Light red berry fruit on the palate, some slightly tart notes of medlar, herbaceous touch, hint of acidity and some fairly prominent astringent tannins, has some substance, lively, light acid bite, attractive to good finish.
