2019 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Quite firm, inviting, slightly dried floral and a hint of tobacco aroma with black and a little red fruity flavours, nutty wood notes, a hint of mint and malty traces. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with warm and also a little cooling minty-ethereal elements, crumbly-sandy tannins, slightly chocolaty tones and a hint of juniper on the palate, good substance and persistence, salt in the background, some depth, light coffee and smoky notes, hints of olives and citrus zest, very good, firm finish with sage, ripe juice and spice.
