2016 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Very slightly warm, yet quite firm and deep aroma of partly preserved red and a little dark berries with tobacco notes, morels, some tar, mocha and ethereal nuances. Taut, juicy, relatively cool fruit, slightly nutty spice and a hint of cocoa, present, fine sandy tannin, lively acidity, good persistence, dried-vegetable to herbal traces, salt in the background, very good, tart-juicy finish with some spice and bite again.
