Aidarinis Winery

The winery is located in the municipality of Kilkis in the Goumenissa appellation in the Greek region of Macedonia. The Aidarinis family has been living here since the end of the 19th century, today the farm is run by Christos Aidarinis. On the outskirts of the village a completely new winery with modern equipment was built, the old traditional wine cellar in the centre of the village now serves as a sales point. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards, planted with the red wine varieties Xynomavro, Negoska and Merlot, and the white wine variety Sauvignon Blanc. Red, rosé and white wines OPAP Goumenissa (quality wines), Topikos Oinos (country wines) and Tsipouro (marc spirit) are produced.
