2009 Eisacktal / Val d'Isarco DOC Gewürztraminer, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart nose, apple fruit, citrus and lychee, grassy and herbaceous notes, hint of coffee. Sweetish on the palate, noticeable alcohol, tart vegetal notes, more coffee, some candied yellow fruit, moderate acidity, fairly persistent, residual sugar a little obtrusive, noticeable alcohol again on a fairly good finish with spicy candied fruit.
