2020 Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Quite firm, somewhat vegetal to dried-herbal, nutty and slightly bacony scent of yellow fruits with nuances reminiscent of avocado, eucalyptus and long pepper. Straightforward, very slightly creamy fruit with a hint of butter, lemon verbena and laurel, fine acidity, has some grip and good persistence, light-woody tones and a little smoke in the background, chalky minerality, good to very good, just a hint blurred finish.
