2021 Sauvignon Blanc trocken "Felswand", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat smoky and clearly herbal aroma with citrus aromas, a little white fruity tones, paprika, hints of sage and wasabi as well as floral and nutty hints. Quite taut, quite juicy, still very youthful fruit with smoky and restrained woody tones, herbal-vegetable aromas and a hint of pepper, present acidity, some grip, again a little pepper on the palate, some gooseberry, quite clearly salt, good substance, melting and some power, some depth, very good, firm, juicy and herbal-vegetable finish with a hint of dark berries and lots of acid bite.
