2021 Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Silvaner trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, rather firm, rather cool, distinctly herbal nose with bright yellow fruity notes, a hint of smoke, mushrooms, some minerality and delicate barrel wood tones. Fine, again cool, bright, tightly knitted fruit, relatively present acidity and some grip, clearly planty notes, a little reminiscent of celery on the palate, persistent, a hint of yeasty and smoky-bacony in the background, mushroomy nuances, chalky-salty minerality, hints of aloe vera, still undeveloped, moderate woody hints, very good, tight, tart, still a hint of drying finish with grip and pull.
