2013 Zweigelt trocken Grande Reserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Light smoky, spicy oak on the nose, mixed berries and cherries, earthy notes, pepper and bell peppers, light floral and herbaceous traces. Fairly dark, tart fruit on the palate, peppery spicy and toasted notes, cocoa in the background, as well as more bell peppers, fairly persistent, earthy notes and a hint of citrus fruit, lively, salty mineral traces, remains fairly cool in spiteof the high alcohol level, very good polished, elegant, juicy finish.
