The winery is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. The estate is run by Rudolf Sax, who is supported by the twin brothers Rudolf jr. and Michael Sax. The vineyards comprise 22 hectares of vineyards in the areas Fraupoint, Liß, Panzaun, Schenkenbichl, Spiegel, Steinhaus and Steinmassl. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling,Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Early Red Veltlinerand the red wine varieties Zweigelt and Blauer Portugieser. We practice natural viticulture with minimal use of pesticides. The quality criteria are consistent pruning and specific adapted to the respective grape variety. The vinification is carried out with the latest cellar technology. The grapes are processed with extremely gentle pressing. Depending on the type, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels or . The white wines mature in the bottle for several months before being marketed. Among the premium wines are various Rieslings and Grüner Veltliner Kamptal DAC. Wine chocolate and apricot brandy are also produced.
