Relatively complex, firm and deep, somewhat dried herbal, mushroomy and hints of bacon aroma of mixed berries with a hint of Amarena cherries, some dark minerality and nuances reminiscent of marjoram and lovage. Polished, tart-juicy fruit with a hint of marzipan, some smoky and bitter-chocolatey wood flavours, relatively fine, crumbly tannin, good substance and persistence, wasabi and cardamom in the background, dark mineral tones, has power and a certain warmth, very good, again tart-juicy finish with noticeable pepper.
