Description to San Marino
The dwarf republic of San Marino ("La Serenissima" - the Most Serene) with the same name capital covers 61 km² and is completely surrounded by Italy - Italy. It is located in Central Italy between the regions Emilia-Romagna - Emilia-Romagna and Marche - Marche. The viticulture in San Marino has a long tradition that dates back to Antique Wines - ancient Rome. The vineyards cover 250 hectares of vineyard area on clay-rich Soil Type - soils.
