Description to Romanée-Saint-Vivant AOC
The Grand Cru site is located in the municipality of Vosne-Romanée in the Côte d'Or area in the French region of Burgundy. To the west, the highest point of the Grand Cru site Romanée-Conti is adjacent. The vineyards cover 9.5 hectares of vines at 250 metres above sea level on soil strewn with limestone. The red wine is made from Pinot Noir with proportions of Pinot Liébault and Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris) and can be stored for decades.

The best-known producers include Albert Bichot (Domaine du Clos Frantin), Arnoux, Cathiard, Confuron, Joseph Drouhin, Hudelot-Noellat, Louis Latour, Domaine Leroy, Moillard and Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
