The wine is produced from Moscato Bianco = Muscat Blanc (85%), as well as other permitted (max. 15%). There are the wine types Tranquillo(still wine), Vendemmia tardiva(late harvest) and Frizzante. Well known producers are for example Capanna, Caparzo, Castello Banfi, Col d'Orcia, La Poderina, Poggio Salvi and Il Poggione.
