Description to IGP Ribeiras do Morazzo
IGP area (local wine) for red and white wines in the province of Pontevedra in the north-west Spanish region of Galicia. The classification was made in 2018 and the vineyards cover 2,340 hectares in eight municipalities. They are the white wine varieties Albariño(Alvarinho), Caíño Blanco, Godello, Loureiro, Treixadura(Trajadura), Branco Lexítimo(Albarín Blanco) and Torrontés(Alarije), and the red wine varieties Brancellao(Alvarelhão), Caíño Tinto(Borraçal), Pedral, Espadeiro, Loureiro Tinto, Mencía and Sousón(Vinhão).
